Week 4: The Next Chapter

Note: This week will be less about football/teams/players as I know trade talk is happening every where. Don't want my input impacting my trades/the others ones I know being discussed.

I feel like all of us are at the age of of "The Next Chapter" in our lives.

Dan: becoming a girl dad and having to become a multiple gun owner/enthusiast.

Doug: having to have your wife and child move out of the house because your refusal to have a pest control company come out and save you from a bee and wasp infestation in your house. When I have access to a multi-multi-million dollar pest control company that I actively text direct ownership who then comes to my house within days to fix a problem because Kathleen found two dead bugs in two of our sinks over a two week period.

Note: the "multi-multi-million dollar" line wasn't meant to be a humble brag but more of emphasis on how frustrated I am at Doug for not asking for my assistance on this. He's known about this client of mine for years and playing COD Monday night was actively slamming his desk and or falling from his chair because he was getting attacked by bee's and doesn't ask for help.

Brian:

Note: You will be receiving a $20.00 coupon to www.scuba.com for your future scuba needs Saturday.

Alan: becoming a girl dad and having to become a multiple gun owner/enthusiast.

Lukas/Doug(Pt2)/Dustin: As you guys have been touring actual commercially built restaurant buildings for sale in hopes to get off the wheels and own an actual restaurant.

Chris: Moving from Chicago.

To Philly

Kirk: -Everyone close their eyes and picture this- Well actually do it after I type it out. You know the single guy walking through the park with a puppy to get chicks "meme", but like its actually true. Well imagine it 100x that:

Stephanie is back in Chicago with family and its just Kirk and Kairo. We as a gang assemble out at a brewery or winery that has a grass or turfed area with multiple fun activities. Kairo is running around having fun and then at our picnic table or stand up table pulls on Kirk's pant leg and loudly goes "Papa, Papa, te amo mucho y eres el mejor papa del mundo".

Note: I can speak for certain Kath would melt, I will speak for everyones wife/significant other they will melt, speaking for myself in 2025 I will melt, and I will speak on behalf of all the female strangers we will never meet in the fact they to will melt.

Cody: Getting ready to move in with your lady bee here shortly.

Dougpt3: becoming a girl dad and having to become a multiple gun owner/enthusiast.

Will: Thanks for hosting Sunday!!

Austin: You still have to pay for what you did to my floors. Your next chapter is in my hands.

Yes that is a picture of like 8-9 year old myself. Yes that was actually on purpose.

Myself: I've already the new homeownership bullshit that doesn't need to be rehashed. But a new chapter that I truly have never lived in my entire life has really hit me this last few days. It's come to my attention that in my lifetime (well that I can remember), I have never lived in an actual quite literal neighborhood. Technically speaking from age 0-8, I lived in the neighborhood off of Douglas and Central but I remember 0.2% of that. But then moving to Oregon and being far out (at the time) on Brown road, I never experienced a neighborhood life. I never rode bikes in neighborhoods, never got together for neighborhood football/basketball/wiffleball/sports, never ding-dong ditched/snuck out with neighborhood kids at night. To Trick or Treat, my family would have to go to someone else's house at like 5pm after school and Trick or Treat in their neighborhood and then head home at like 9pm. Within the last few years I have been combining my nightly walks with Stevie and wheed. Popping a quick eddie (like 5mg nothing serious) and cruising around Levis these last few years has actually been so enjoyable. Place is empty, its extremely well lit, and just being a tad high, feeling everything a bit more, is so peaceful. I've continued that tradition as of late except twice now I have been stopped by neighbors to meet Stevie and I, which is fine I can handle a bit of chatter. As the days get shorter, my walks with Steve are now pretty fucking dark compared to Levis. Which is fine, but being on the wheed I am a bit more on edge rather than relaxed. Tonight for example I came home from soccer, eddied, showered, ate, and the as the eddie was hitting I was walking out the door with Steve. Its pretty fucking dark and as I get to the end of my driveway I go to turn left and immediately jump scare the fuck out of myself.

A fucking ghost hanging from a tree and a human sized spider?!!?!? Jesus fucking maaaaaaroooooooneeeeeee. I am 100% serious, I have gone 32 years assuming people decorate for Halloween like a day or two before not a whole month prior. I spent 95% of the walk terrified what I'd run into next. I don't do any scary anything. I hate it. I am mildly high, its pitch fucking black, and I am shitting bricks like sprinting through this walk as I am trapped in a haunted neighborhood high as balls. I guess my next chapter is only walking my dog while its light out because I won't be giving up that wheeed.

Small Football Portion

Quick few notes:

- trades, trades, trades. Talks are happening if you want to make moves it seems a lot are happening now.
- Either Will or I will be 0-4 after this weekend. If Will loses he would be the first person in fantasy football history to have 3 second round picks and 0 injuries while being 0-4.
- I have 14 less PF on the year compared to Brian who is 3-0 which is fucking infuriating. Meanwhile yet again like every fucking year, I have the 2nd most PA.
- Lukas is 2-1 despite him having more PA than PF.
- Austin has yet to crack 100 points on the year in a PPR league with 0 injuries impacting his team. Also has Xavier Legette on his roster who is getting healthy scratched and losing reps to Hunter Renfrow who didn't play football for 3 years.
- Injuries across the board this last few weeks have been brutal to WRs. CD, Jamaar, and JJ all very very impacted. Pretty wild the consensus top 3 WR's haven't lived up to it and likely won't.

- Kirk here is a few replies to your previous blog that replied to my previous blog:

My First Blog: "Malik Nabers: He doesn't finish as a top 10 receiver on the year."

You replied: 😳

My reply to your reply: 😁

My First Blog: "George Pickens and Tee Higgins: I won't go to in-depth because I talked about it at the draft. Burrow and Dak will need to score 40 points a game now that Trey is all but gone and I don't see Micah signing. I think both players if they stay healthy, Higgins could finish top 10 and Pickens easily top 15."

You replied: "Higgins could finish top 10 and Pickens easily top 15. 50% is stall an F but IG i cant fault you for not knowing burrow would go down week 2 - although that was always a risk."

My reply to your reply: IN NO WAY SHAPE OR FORM ARE THOSE GUYS HITTING THOSE NUMBERS WITHOUT THEIR QB I THOUGHT THAT WAS ASSUMED.

I couldn't find my original take on Jamo and amon ra. So like I can't really rebuttal it you know? Like you really can't prove I said that and are probably fakenews CNNing me no cap.

Thanks and see everyone next week!
