Taking Shots

DISCLAIMER:

Because I have been extremely busy at work and then throw in putting in 6-8 hours a night at the house this has been written up over a multitude of days. Things may have changed since parts of the write-up so forgive me.

This is typically my favorite blog/write-up of the year. Drafting is my favorite time of the year when it comes to fantasy. Leaving the draft last night, I spent the whole time driving back thinking of why I love it so much. When I broke it down to the ground level, I found that it truly forces you to give an opinion, to which you either live or die based on that opinion. Obviously excluding injuries; your forced to pick between players and have a "take" on them. I know that doesn't apply to some, but for a guy who loves to debate and hot takes.... This is the closest I get to arguing and claim "your wrong" with every individual here. Again I know probably everyone doesn't think its that deep, but its my brain and I'm stuck with it; to which, your now stuck with it.

Before we get into my beliefs/hot takes on the year, I always am open to someone rebutting my claims and giving their opinion. I know Kirk has always done a follow up to these (I hope he does this year also), but I find we both typically see eye-to-eye on most of it. During the draft sitting next to each other, we both had a good amount of shared thoughts but still would love him or anyone else to do one. I think its important to understand how I see the fantasy board, my takes going into this year, and why this is titled Taking Shots.

---------------------------------------------------------------

My Fantasy Year Overview:

Being a keeper league throws a massive wrench into drafting and last year I paid the price for not adjusting correctly.

Quarterbacks:

Personally I had no option (due to no keepers on my team); but I don't think keeping a QB and or drafting a QB that doesn't run the ball is a huge huge red alert do not do in PPR fantasy 10 man league. The scoring breakdown goes:

1.) Passing TD's 4 points and passing yards is 1 point per 25 yards.

2.) Rushing TD's is 6 points and rushing yards is 1 per 10 yards.

A 25 yard touchdown pass is a total of 5 points, meanwhile a Justin Fields scramble touchdown for 15 yards is 7.5 points (I am using that example because it happened opening preseason game).

That's last years QB scoring. The reason I post that is look at Burrow with just shy of 5,000 yards and Goff just short of 4,700 and then look at that Jayden Daniels at 3,500 and Bo Nix at 3,700. Burrow and Daniels had less than 20 points difference and Goff/Nix had under a 10 point difference.

Burrow in 1 game last year:

251  passing yards and 5 passing Touchdowns

Daniels in 1 game last year:

254 passing yards, 2 passing touchdowns, 1 rushing touchdown, and 39 rushing yards.

I do think their are some pocket-passer and gun-slinger types that can still stay at the top of the fantasy leader boards but I think its a tough ask.

Notes:

I am floored/stunned nobody took Drake Maye.

Far right is his rushing numbers. Across 12 games last year he average over 3 rushing "attempts" and was averaging 35 yards rushing a game. That would be an extra 3.5 points per game. He would need an extra 87.5 passing yards a game to hit that same 3.5 point total.

AKA why Justin Fields finished as a top 5 QB in fantasy a few years ago.

Sorry I am probably beating a dead horse but when I start ranking teams and I dislike a QB I want it laid out why prior.

Running Backs:

From my green line and up is every running back I think worth drafting by the end of the 3rd round. James Cook (in red) I don't think should be that high personally, and will dive into that more when I get to Lukas's team. Black lines are the players kept. Going into the draft this year I think RB's have the by far the biggest drop from very good must start players, to basically useless in fantasy. There is only 18 "bonified" 3 down running backs in the league, and out of those I only trust 14 of them.

A few metrics I somewhat live by when it comes to the remaining runningbacks outside of the 3rd round are:

- Age: Runningbacks that turn 28.5 years of age typically have a massive, massive drop off. Only a few certain ones have ever been able to break that threshold. IE: Henry, Saquon, Kamara. But think of your Zeke, Gurleys, Chris Johnsons, Mccoys etc. All of those breaks happen at 28-29.

- Team: Its cliche to say "team" but its true. There is a crazy stat out there that basically only 1 or two runningbacks in the last two decade has placed in the top 15 top scorers has ever been on a losing record team. Which is Kamara and one Saquon Giants year. So when I see the Swifts, Connors, Pollards, and Judkins, I see them as start-able sure, but I question their fantasy impact and round drafted.

- Injuries: Combining those two categories and throw an injury history, not currently injured, scares me off some of these guys. David Montgomery, Pacheco, Ajones, and Mixon (even if he was healthy) are a few examples.

Wide Receivers:

Green means they will be higher in the current rankings and red means falling off in the rankings. I think this year will have a massive and I mean massive turn around in rankings going into the next year. I think there are a ton of question marks and when I discussed earlier how I judge when people draft is their "take" on a player.

When judging receivers I look at a few things such as: Are they the #1 on their team, team scoring on both offense and defense, Quarterback, and etc etc. I'll dive deep into with each team but I'll give a couple examples of what I mean now.

1.) Malik Nabers: He doesn't finish as a top 10 receiver on the year. The Giants have Russy who blows cock and I doubt they ever turn to Jameis and go right to Dart who will be a rookie. On top of that all of their free agent signings/draft capital has been spent on the defense of side of the ball. Abdul Carter this year and Brian Burns last year. Drafting Cam Skat while already having Tracey and not really improving the O-line screams to me; run the fucking ball and win games through our defense

2.) Brian Thomas JR: New coaching staff and adding Travis Hunter. I know that doesn't seem to be a lot but he was substantially better when Mac Jones was the QB rather than Tlaw.

With Tlaw:

With Mac Jones:

I don't know if it's he got better throughout the year but don't just look at points, look at the target share and field percentage usage. They will force feed Hunter (because of the optics of trading to get him and how early they did) and maybe I am reading into it a little much but something seems fishy with the connection with Tlaw and Brian.

3.) Courtland Sutton: I think has the potential and will be a top 10 receiver this pending a few things.

Look at the early start of last year while Bo was figuring out the NFL and then look at the back half. They just paid him this offseason and added ZERO WR help going into this year. Along with that he shockingly had only 8 touchdowns last year which I think is the floor for him. My worry or my reasons why I don't see him being top 10 is: I think the Broncos are extremely extremely good. I think this could be the AJ Brown effect of they are killing teams by halftime and just run the ball to finish out games. Secondly the Evan Engram addition is a little worry some when it comes to the redzone. But Sutton is a bonified 1, on a great team, and I don't see any real scenarios where he isn't better this year.

4.) George Pickens and Tee Higgins: I won't go to in-depth because I talked about it at the draft. Burrow and Dak will need to score 40 points a game now that Trey is all but gone and I don't see Micah signing. I think both players if they stay healthy, Higgins could finish top 10 and Pickens easily top 15.

- Note: I know its extremely rare to have two receivers place in the top 20 on the same time: IE 3 bears receivers went top 30 last year. I just think these two QBs will be slinging it literally, 50 times a game.

5.) Adams/Puca and Jamo/Amon: Based off that note ^, this happens in fantasy. Two WR's ADP or ranked to both be top 20 guys on the year. Unfortunately that rarely rarely happens and I think both teams suffer from the same issue. Lions and Rams have great defenses (high risk of blowing teams out) but also have a million mouths to feed. Laporta and Gibbs or Kyren and the rookie TE they just drafted. These teams will certainly score but I just doubt both place top 20 and if they do it could be towards 15-20 range because they can take from each other. Both sets are extremely talented, but only 1 ball.

Note: Sean McVay has had an offense that support two top 15 WR's in the Kupp/Woods days. I also think this Stafford injury would make me fucking terrified if I had Puca or Adams.

Note: Hot Take: I think Jamo has potential to outscore Amon Ra this year.

Tightend:

If you don't have Bowers, McBride, or Kittle.... welcome to the fucking crapshoot and pray to whom ever you believe in that your TE scores points. I think those guys are in a different universe than the rest of the board. Kelce/Warren would be maybe 4-5. But who knows and fuck this position.

Lastly Talent: I firmly believe this year that there is a ton of uncertainty especially at the running back position, but in general regarding players and their outcomes. So this year as I'm about to breakdown my team to kick us off, I think talent is going to really make a breakthrough in some of these weird triangles and I just hope I'm right.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I hope that provided some insight into how I rate/look at fantasy this year. Lets get into the draft breakdown, winners and losers, and final rankings.

Open 4 Trades - Kyle: I say it every year and I mean it; breaking down your own team is always weird and somewhat biased. I am going to provide mainly a "what I was thinking" when taking these picks and you can be the judge on them.

Taking Shots: This year is obviously different. I decided to trade my 2nd rounder which is impactful but doesn't ruin my draft by any means. But Will having three 2nd rounders, Kirk with two 1st rounders, and Alan with 3 third rounders I knew I was behind the 8-ball (wish we could trust cocaine still side note). So I went talented, young, and a bit risky knowing that this year may not be their best but can be a great keeper going forward. So keeping my year alive, while knowing I fucking hate hate the RB cliff and every late round RB on the board I started with Henry. The Ravens had 0 roster turnover and made 0 offensive changes so I know what I am getting with Henry rather than the risk of Jeanty/CMC. Drafting Olave in the 3rd round last year I learned a lot about the keeper world. I've stressed how important the 3rd round is this offseason (sorry Will) and the fact of the matter is you want a player that has a "high" ceiling but a low "floor". Olave I drafted basically at his ceiling and his floor is fucking horrible. Treyveon was the perfect fit. Even though he is in a split backfield this year, I think his talent combined with Rhamondre's current injuries throughout camp will have him be the RB1 in no time. If it does take time Rhamondre's contract comes up next year and I think they let him walk. At the turn I new I was going receiver and Harrison, Sutton, and DK were all gone so TETAIROA McMILLAN was my next pick. Both the Panthers and Patriots aren't your world beater teams at the moment but are on the up and up, so taking the talent and staying young over the Deebo's/Georgie (pyscho)/ Rice (sussyed) was an easy pick. The next two rounds going Emeka and then Pearsall was simply "I don't give a fuck where they are drafted I want to walk away from this draft with both of them" picks. Most certainly and probable "drafted a round early" guys, BUT the 49ers have no Aiyuk for at best 7 weeks, J-Jennings has and is dealing with contract disputes/calf issues all summer, and maybe the hottest take I think Emeka will be so fucking good that Mike Evans or Godwin will be left off the field. Godwin has yet to even jog entirely this summer as of 8/15/25 and will be going on IR, and I think Emeka will start off so red hot that even when Godwin comes back, Godwin himself will be the WR3 on the team. If you remember last year through 8 weeks Godwin was WR#1. I am not saying that Emeka is going to be WR#1 in fantasy, but I do think he is the future and will light it up this year.

- Note: I know that is a lot to digest but I think understanding my point of view of fantasy this year/my literal thought process of my draft will help when I get to your guy's teams.

Lastly on my team, Aiyuk was purely a next year keeper pick. I don't think hes going to be any good this year and my sneaky TE pick of Likely is also a keeper/playable guy because Mark Andrews is on his literal last legs/last contract year. All offseason reporting out of Baltimore is they love Likely and will be signing him to a long term deal as the "next Mark Andrews" for the team.

Return of the King:

I think this is without a doubt on my mind the worst possible use in the history of 3rd round picks (I'm including my Olave pick) that I have ever seen since implementing this rule. How in the literal fuck do you have THREE 3rd round picks in our current format and somehow end up with THREE guys over the age of 30? Any who lets get into it.

Love: I do love the first two picks. My hot take is Amon Ra might not be top 10 this year a explained above but more than likely he will end top 10. I think the decision in at your 2nd pick if its me was Kyren or Taylor and you went Taylor and I am fine with that. I do like Njoku with Flacco being named the starter but I worry about the rookie QB dilemma and how that's sorted.

Hate: I think this is the worst draft given all the capital and picks you have that I have ever seen. So lets break it down. Before the draft keeping Chris Godwin over Jakobi Meyers is a joke. Meyers missed 2 games last year (with far worse QB's than now Geno) and still was a top 20 receiver in fantasy. Godwin turning 30 at the end of the year can't even walk at a fast pace as of today and the season is 15 days away? They drafted Emeka? He was always starting on IR? The 3rd round debacle.... I personally am not high on the Saints and I think they may go winless. Kamara always has his value but this is by far the lowest its ever been and he's 30. James Connor is on his final contract year and rumors are swirling Trey Benson may get more time. Davante Adams at the end of the round? Before Marvin? Matt Stafford before the draft hasn't taken a rep and or even thrown off to the side before today. So you drafted Adams WR2 with his potential QB in Stettson Bennit or Jimmy G? Then in the 4th round KNOWING currently on your roster you have 3 eligible starting receivers and 3 running backs, you decide to go ANOTHER 30 YEAR OLD RUNNING BACK IN AN ACTIVE OPENLY TALKED ABOUT TIMESHARE? With George Pickens available or any receiver on the board?

Before Jordan Mason was on the roster AJones (whose had injury issues throughout his carrier) averaging like 60% of snaps? Then in the next round you take Patrick Mahomes? Can someone on planet fucking earth give me a good reason Patrick Mahomes is being drafted in the 5th round let alone entirely? Rashee is getting suspended the entire fantasy football season and in the last two seasons Mahomes hasn't scored in top 10 PPR league format? The chiefs last year were the 17th scoring offense and they open the year up against 4 teams with probable top 10 defenses in the NFL. Finally, I know you texted me already off to the side saying "you can trade" some of these guys to get keepers. But next season starts tomorrow who the fuck are you keeping while having 6 picks through rounds three - six? A 30 year old TE Njoku whose got Hannin behind him? Your team is still good but the average age of your team is 900, no keepers as of this moment next year, and I think you could've done so much more but you bottled it. I want to re-emphasize this again just so everybody is on the same page, 6 picks rounds 3-6 you came out with: Kamara, Connor, Adams, AJones, Mahomes, and Njoku 5 skill players with a combined age of 31 years old.

Slay All Day - Chris:

Love: I loved your two keepers. Granted I think its somewhat bullshit you got to switch it claiming you didn't know it needed to be set because I was texting you two weeks straight about trading for Mcbride leading up to the time they needed to be set. Hand up, I was going to draft ridley which plays a role in it also. I have McBride as the top overall TE this year and I think Cam Ward is better than Mason/Will Levis circus last year. On top of that Chase was my first overall pick also and Kyren making to the start of round 3 is laughable in my eyes. Lowkey don't hate Jaylen Waddle this year. I know people have a negative vibe on him (rightfully so) but the dolphins are another team that needs to score 100 points a game to win and if Tua can stay healthy.... He might actually be great this year (I think Tyreek is traded mid year).  Kyler is always a toss up but always finds his way finishing in the top 10 PPR so I am meh about it. Dobbins is meh in and in a Sean Peyton offense that regardless of his running backs always has a 5 running back system.

Hate: I will continue saying it till the day I die, double TE is so fucking stupid unless you have like a Mcbride + Bowers combo. Taking Kelce at the end of the 4th round while having 1 RB and 3 receivers on your team is fucking criminal. Put this into perspective for you: Kelce is 35 turning 36 and scored 195 fantasy points on the year last year. Your 9th round pick in Darnell Mooney, emphasis on 9th round, scored 193 fantasy points. So your telling me nobody, and I mean nobody between rounds 5-9 is going to score more than Kelce this year in your flex spot? It would be one thing if he was your only TE on the roster, but hes never, and I mean ever starting over Mcbride. If I had the choice to draft Javontae/Jaydon Blue/Miles Sanders and or die, I'd choose death. 1.) All those guys suck at football in general; 2.) that backfield/run game is such a fucking shit show and has been for years that I wouldn't even swoop them off waivers. Jordan Mason, Cam Skat, Benson, Chubb, Ford, Sampson, Ekeler and the list goes on and on of people I'd rather have than those two picks there.

Unsoliciated Dak Pics - Doug: I am not really going to give this the time because you're like 75% trolling and I unfortunately treat the draft as my personal superbowl, so all this does is piss me off. Idk why Browns fans think Judkins is like playing before like week 4? He has no contract, hasn't ran a play in the offense, nor knows the playbook a he hasn't been with the team, and may still get suspended. Keep your eyes out for Pittman and Juedy to do pretty good until both starting QBs get benched like week 8-9.

BosshogonCandy - Lukas: You like myself, stick to your beliefs and draft based off of them which I respect.

Love: Bo Nix and Nabers as your keepers was great. I think Bo Nix partnered with Sutton I can't give higher praises and I think could explode this year. Deebo finally got some preseason action and looked like Deebo of old which stunned me/fantasy community. I am meh on Mathew Golden as I am curious to see how Green Bay uses him and fits there system.

Hate: James Cook

This is a personal well I guess public guarantee, this fucking guy isn't scoring 18 touchdowns this year on 239 touches. Drafting him ahead of Kyren:

Who scored 16 touchdowns on 350 touches is preposterous. "James cook got paid", yeah so did Kyren, and Kyren got paid more? Again I am a TE hater outside the top 3, but Laporta at the beginning of the 3rd? Guy scored 5 more points than Freirmuth last year on the top scoring offense in the league rather than having Russy as his QB. Maybe you've been reading more into camp reports than I have, and maybe Laporta is going to be used as an acutal threat. But in my eyes it goes passing wise: 1.) Amon Ra, 2.) Williams, 3.) Gibbs, 4.) Laporta/maybe Tesla? Another question I have is why anyone would draft a the entire splitbackfield of a team (chris this applies to you also) knowing you're only going to ever start 1? I would've liked 1 or the other knowing they probably aren't ever starting over cook or Gibbs and then going another receiver. Golden and Kyle Williams are true question marks, mainly Kyle, but getting a Pittman/Addison/Downs over Jaylen is what I would've done.

Team Danmiller3639 - Dan:

Love: Kind of underrated and not talked about is you basically went 0 RB strategy. It has never worked out in the past for me and because I hate all of the late round RB's and love a majority of late round receivers is why I abandoned it this year. No cap but immitation is the sincests form of flattery aka your subliminal conscious says we should kiss again no cap. Given the options I do like the DJ moore and Burrow keepers (I am a bit worried about moore this year). I am to the moon on Pickens this year and I do think Tyreek is either good and or gets traded to a good spot. Warren is a sneaky I think top TE and this Chubb/Mixon/Pierce/ I think Brian Robinson could get traded to the Texans is interesting to see how it shakes out. Also Jordan Mason was a sleeper for us 0 running back enthusiast.

Hate: I got some questions. Did you intentionally go 0 RB? And if you did I don't think JJ should've been your pick at 4. I have CD higher than JJ because we have no idea what JJ Mcarthy is yet. Tyreek in the second makes sense if you wanted 0 RB strategy? Are you thinking Breece Hall is a keeper for next year? He's 100% splitting carries and on a dogshit team compared to a bell cow in Connor and a semi dogshit/okay team? The titans are rumored to be in the Brian Robinson market which isn't great for Pollard? Chubb same thing?

Bonnie Blue -42 - Will: Unlike Alan I think you crushed this draft but I'd maybe tweak things a bit differently.

Love: Walking into the draft pun intended, and having all the picks you did; you just went straight up load the fuck up on important positions and I thin you crushed it. Through 2 rounds you had 3 RB's and 3 WR's all top 15esq guys. I may have used one of those second rounders for Josh Allen because you already were so loaded but that's preference because you got Hurts in the 3rd.

Hate: I hate nothing about this draft but in my opinion you got cute in rounds 4 and 5 which if injuries come into play could be costly. When you are so ahead of everyone after two rounds I think you put the fucking nail in the coffin and tell next year keepers to fuck off I am going for the championship. Rice who we all know is going to get suspended out the ass compared to just drafting Pickens I thought was a miss. Lastly, nobody knows what the fuck is going on with Mixon's injuries. Multiple reports have come out saying he will be fine week 1 and other beat writers have said he's out for the season. You already have 3 starting backs before picking Mixon and will have the FAAB to unload when someone dies. I think instead of punting on TE, its Warren or Njoku for me there. I do like Mason Taylor but the Jets blow, Fields can't throw, and I think you had the opportunity to really really standout.

Matt Rows a How - Cody: Similar situation of trading early picks last year and having to draft with the consequences. I will say you were on no sleep and had 0 interest at being there so don't read into this to heavily.

Love: The keepers coming into this year as long as Terry signs are brilliant. Kittle I think has a pathway to be TE1 on the year. I am high on Jakobi Meyers, I have no idea on Swift, I am okay with Chardonayyyy, and eckler stock is up.

Hate: I get Josh Allen is the #1 QB every year, but look at what that pick does for your roster. In 10 man leagues QB's are not that important let alone when you don't have your first overall pick. Take a shot on a rookie QB like I did with Jayden and go like Maye, Ward, Penix. It just sets your roster so far back. Monty whose almost 90 and injure prone in a split backfield with a super star over Henderson/Pacheco I thought was also crazy. Jennings whose hurt/contract issues and having already having Kittle I'd go anyone else. Tucker Kraft in the 8th now putting two TE's on your roster rather trying the Chubb/Ford/Sampson I thought was insane. Lastly I am praying to Jesus Christ Kincaid was an auto pick because rounding out a roster with 3 TE's may push me over the edge.

Pitts n Giggles - Austin: Another fellow no 2nd round pick companion.

Love: We've already talked about how I love your keepers so I won't get into that. I personally wouldn't have gone Jeanty over CMC but thats a dealers choice pick in my opinion. Obviously I am gonna ride for my boy DK and I think Luther Burden is going to have an impact this year/possible keeper when DJ is traded next year.

Hate: My entire draft was risky and maybe your in the same boat I am with it, but Travis Hunter is getting like 60% offense and 40% defense snaps currently in camp. Because you and I are behind the 8-ball (coke) I understand taking shots but doing it with a guy that is only currently getting 40% less snaps than other receivers aka Odunze I didn't like. Following that up with Tyrone Tracey on a shit team that just drafted a stud rookie RB rather than Chardonney, Warren, Mason but in better teams and splitting I didn't like. Addison isn't playing the first 3 games this year which is somewhat counterintuitive as you need guys playing right now. Yet again here we are at 98 year old mark Andrews that is quite literally unplayable unless he scores a touchdown rather than going Keon Coleman upside or Cam Skat upside was another mistake.

Amon the Rise - Dustin: I think this is my favorite keeper duo in the entire league. I project both guys to be in the top 10 in their position (pending Higgins can stay healthy). Unfortunately no 3rd rounder.

Love: Nico Collins is a you can't miss and with your two keepers you can go RB or WR and its the same outcome. I don't think Zay is like a world beater WR but in PPR formats hes so god damn good. I somewhat just talked about the Coleman upside going into year 2 that I like. Lastly, I am willing to give you my 1st round pick next year for free because of the last round Thielan pick up. You are a standup man with pure class and I wish you could've seen my smile when you took him in the 13th. Brilliant.

Hate: Achane was hurt before this draft and taking him over the other RB's in the second round was a huge huge huge mistake. He's super injury prone and walking into the year already injured is auto no go for me (that being said if he somehow stays healthy I love him). I am personally out on Kupp. I am low on the seahawks and having a 32-33 WR is something I am not in business in. Brian Robinson debacle going on right now is something I don't want (also another could end up in a good spot). Lastly, let me apologize a bit to you ahead of time.

WHY IN THE FUCK DID YOU DRAFT JUSTIN FUCKING HERBERT WHO WAS QB 11 LAST YEAR AND QB 17 TWO YEARS AGO AKA SHOULDN'T EVEN BE ON YOUR ROSTER IN THE 8TH ROUND WITH. ONLY TO THEN FOLLOW IT UP WITH PICKING UP TREVOR LAWRENCE. IF YOUR QB IS WHITE AND DOES NOT RUN THE BALL WHILE DAK PRESCOTT WHO WILL NEED TO SCORED 50 POINTS A GAME WITH 0 RUNNING GAME AND TWO ABSOULTE MONSTERS ON THE OUTSIDE IS A FREE AGENT EXPLAIN TO ME WHY YOU DRAFT HERBERT IN THE 8TH AND THEN PICKED UP LAWERNCE. AND WHEN YOU TELL ME ITS "BECAUSE HE SUCKS" HE WAS QB 3 IN 2023 WITHOUT GEORGIE AND A BETTER RUN GAME.

Joint Per Reception - Kirk: The man with the extra first rounder lets see what he does with it.

Love: I do like JSN as a keeper and worthy isn't my favorite but it doesn't matter when we get into it here. I don't know how on earth CD fell to you at 6. That is insane and when he clearly outscore amon ra and JJ I will let Alan and Dan know. Going double runningback at the turn was brilliant as we talked about the RB drop off. We are both high on Harrison this year so that's fine.

Hate: I also don't "hate" this draft but would've done a few things differently. I am fine with RJ Harvey but Sean Peyton is always and will forever be a split backfield so maybe going Swift I'd prefer. I also want 0 part of the 2/3 RB split down in Jacksonville. Bigsby is getting 1st and 2nd downs while Etienne is getting 3rd downs and tuten isnt playing. I know hes super hyped in the community but when you have this heavy of start I'd start just hammering the rest of us. Personally I think worthy shouldn't be a starter on your team and instead of going hockenson in the 5th, I personally would have gone odunze/pearsall and then skipped Etienne entirely if you wanted Hockenson. Minor things but maybe you don't agree with me personally.

Team WILLSON - Brian: Another guy missing a 3rd rounder.

Love: Chase Brown could be a a top 5 RB this year and Hubbard is a bell cow for your keepers is great. I think from a birds eye view of this draft I loved it. Having 2 starting RB's and hitting the turn with 2 solid WR's was great (Puca scares me if staffy isn't healthy). You saw the RB cliff by your next pick at the 4th round and said fuck that, and kept loading up at a position that had tons of talent with Mike Evans. Again the next turn taking another 2 WR's even though giving you 5 on the roster gives you flexibilty.

Both of us hated that fucking mid-pack RBs and just kept grabbing talent elsewhere. Knowing we will use FAAB for the eventual injuries coming at the RB position. Evan Engram I think was a great snag on a great team for the 7/8th round.

Hate: Purdy can be a top 10 QB in fantasy but I don't think without Jennings/Aiyuk he is this year. Goedert is an eagles superfan pick so respect, but if you are also playing the "wait for a RB to die than FAAB dump" I'd start playing the backup RB lottery like myself instead of Goedert.

FINAL PREDICTIONS:

1.) Will

2.) Kirk

3.) Alan

4.) Brian

5.) Dustin

6.) Lukas

7.) Kyle

8.) Chris

9.) Dan

10.) Austin

11.) Cody

12.) Doug
