Week 5 & 6 - Football Football Football

***************** Quick Lead off note: 95% of this was written before the trades came through today. I am going to try to update everything after learning about said trades. So if there are mistakes in here regarding Cooper/Adams just know that I tried to go back and update them but may have forgot**************************

Tell our gay ass wives to stay home and read some smut, as this week is going to be a full in-depth football breakdown/league breakdown. Buckle up this is going to be fun. But before we get into the breakdown I have to come clean:

I wrote this two weeks ago.......

League Breakdown

A couple things I found interesting:

- Brian is currently averaging a fucking insane 136 points per game. After spending 5ish minutes going back through our prior leagues this is the highest point total heading into week 7 ever. That's without AJ brown for multiple weeks and JT now. Truly wild.

- Three of the 3-3 teams have more Points Against than Points For. That stat isn't that wild but Dan is 2-4 with even though its a point, has more Points For than Points Against.

- Along with that 50% of the league is 3-3 (6 teams) meaning its going to be a super tight race when it comes to only 6 teams getting into the playoffs.

- Lastly, Doug is 3-3 while Kirk is 1-5. Doug has 10 more Points For on the season compared to Doug.

A couple note worthy topics to remind people of:

- Trade deadline date is going to move to the end of Week 11

- You can package players and picks for this year. Also as a reminder you MUST keep two players on your roster that were not already kept and were not drafted in rounds 1 and 2.

Team Breakdowns:

Per usual I am not going to get to in-depth on everyones teams I as am starting to float trades out there to everyone. But I'll give a couple little tidbits and keep it moving. Lets start top to bottom:

1.) Brian: Already battling through injuries and still at the top. Dropping Chubba is probably my biggest regret so far this season. I will say I don't think Christian Kirk, Sutton, Javontae are going to be the answer long term for your flex spot (granted I don't know if you'll even need that 4th flex spot) and with Jonathan Brooks getting activated to practice this week means he will probably start playing in week 8. You don't draft a RB in round 2 if he isn't going to get a ton of work in todays NFL. So looking at the roster a RB maybe needed in the future as Javonate ain't it.

2.) Chris: Turns out having the QB 1 on the year, RB 1 and 2 on the year is going to win you games.

I've always hated this team but it keeps on winning so props to you. Jayden Reed is the clear #1 in Green bay with and offense that is flying and Mcbride I think is only going to improve as Harrison is now out. I say that in the same vein of you have two 30 year old runningbacks who you will need to stay healthy all season because if not you could be in trouble. Henry at 30 years old if the season played out the same way it is now, would be over 25 touchdowns and 2000 yards. Gun to my head that isn't sustainable.

3.) Cody- Every year this guy gets roasted in the beginning and then ends up here. But like every year the wheels fall off and he ends .500. The difference is this year is his team is actually getting better as the year goes on. Terry has been getting better week to week with Daniels, Diggs is going to be great now that Nico is on IR, Kareem apparently is great, hes counting down the days until Pucas return, I think worthy will get more and more involved as the year goes on and if Mostert can comeback when Tua does things could get interesting. I am not all in on this team but I am certainly not as out as I was at the start of the year.

4.) Kyle- Instead of typing it out for my team, lets use pictures instead.

5.) Austin - I don't think I understand your brain or some of the decisions you make. I truly wish I could but week in and week out I keep getting more and more confused.
I think your team is unfortunately finding its median. You've had a couple of hot weeks but I think its starting to level out. I think Rhamondre will be better with Drake Maye back there, I think JJ is still the goat, and we will see what/how Adams does with Rodgers. I know you might be all gassed up because of the trade but I don't think Wilson is going to be straight ignored. Bowers has and will be great but I do worry about Swift. I know he's been great but look who he's played and look at the back half of the schedule. The gauntlet is coming.

- Note: I can't stand from my Wicks tower and criticize what waiver moves anyone makes. But with Wicks, Watson/Doubs were out and had a 20+ point game. Ray-Ray has had a high of 12 points and Bijan, Mooney, London, Pitts, and Alligier were all still playing and none were even questionable for that matter. So just curious on the thought there?

6.) Dustin- Talk about a team who is on the fucking come up. You have 4 solid WR's who are producing at minimum a double digit game every week it seems. Along with that, Kelce being the only target for Mahomes is going to be amazing. The problem you may have is at RB. Jones got hurt before the bye week so hopefully he's fixed, Bucky Irving was great but Sean Tucker was also great/White coming back means at best case scenario a 3 headed monster out of the backfield there, James cook's injury by way of "x" doctors is going to be multiple weeks, and Chardonney is useless if Walker is healthy. I think decent QB play and this 4 headed monster at receiver (I've now dropped mooney and chubba for the people back at home) will win you games. But that RB position is not looking great.

7.) Lukas - I'll hit a few things here but not much to say when your entire team is hurt. Rashee/waddle (no tua)/Harrison/Nabers is just gg's. Oh and don't forget to throw in Brian Robinson. I love the Tracy pickup and I think you're doing everything you can. LaPorta I think is in a real real problem for fantasy owners. He's being used as like the 4-5th option on this team. If you told me the lions score 47 points and he had 1 target and 1 catch for a touchdown it isn't great. I was shocked at no offers for Juju but I loved this team when healthy but your not healthy.

8.) Will- Talk about probably the two biggest swings in one day on value of players. Wilson went from balling out to the guy we thought he was going to be all year to then throw in Adams to the Jets. Without question this is going to massively hurt Wilson's targets per game but can he produce more with little is yet to be seen. Cooper going to the Bills is great for Cooper but I am not all in like the public is. Diggs was on this team last year and they still ran the ball a shit ton and used Allen's legs a lot. Don't get me wrong this is definitely better, but I don't think this is like outer-world game changing. Walker and Monty are the real fucking deal. I'd lowkey don't tell anyone else this, look at shopping Bijan. I know nobody is reading this but he is legit splitting time with with Alligier.

Thank Jesus nobody is reading this still. Engram is back to what he was last year but having him and Brian Thomas on the same Jags team seems anti-productive for one of them... IE this week. All in all not a bad team rounded out but has some holes at the flex spot as I think Shaheed is useless without Carr and the hits to Wilson/Thomas (engram is back) is going to be problematic.

9.) Doug - I was not out on your team but you clearly were. You deserve a full on roast. So I'll give you the brightside; this time last year CD was and the cowboys were in this exact same spot before they went nuclear, Josh Jacobs only has 1 touchdown this year which means more are coming, Mike Evans and the Bucs are a wagon so one game like this isn't a deal breaker. Hurts has his weapons back and immediately in a low scoring game puts up 20+. You definitely have 2 issues at the flex position and Najee finally showed up which with Warren back/Patterson coming back isn't sustainable but not the end of the world. What I will roast you on is having fucking $100 of FAAB while sitting on Odunze and Ridley as waiver players. You've made 2 waiver changes since week 1 kicked off. You added Cam akers and swapped a defense. Again I fucked up and spent 41 points on Wicks a few weeks ago but make an effort. Juju was out there after the chiefs never trade for WR's and not even a bid. You're 3-3 act like it.

10.) Dan - CMC on IR, Nico on IR, and Addison/Kyren on a bye pretty much sums up your week in a nutshell. I won't go as hard as I did on Doug for waivers but you also are at $100 but are new to the league and system. Rough start to the season with the injuries etc. You are almost into the camp of looking into next year and maybe trading some value away. I know the rumors are swirling of CMC's return but it maybe too late with your current record.

11.) Alan- Tyreek with no Tua, Pacheo out for the season, Devonta missed 2 games, and you did get a win this week! Credit where credit is due. All in all its tough sledding. I do think this win basically saved your season. Tua is coming back and even though your 2-4, if you can get back to where tyreek is back it changes the game for you drastically. I do think Allen is hit or miss and Downs is miss if AR15 plays rather than flacco. But actually could crawl yourself back into it.

12.) Kirk - I think we are one week from the blow it up camp or the rally camp.  Etienne hasn't been anything this year along with Aiyuk. I don't see it randomly getting better anytime soon for those 2. Mixon, JSN, Dionate have all been way better than I thought coming into the season. Andrews has been shit, which was on nobodys bingo card. I think maybe you squeek out one or two wins here and you can be frisky. But one more loss could be full send next year/caddie boy.
