First one, maybe last one?

The title means two things, 

1.) My rankings of the league.

2.) Will people want this again?

I will get to the rankings and a few inner league match breakdowns shortly, but I'd like to address the original request of me even doing something like this in the first place. The can of worms that is my brain that you've requested to be opened is your own fault. For 3 months at my office, I wrote a Friday email to the staff ranking everyone's performances throughout the week. In that few-month time span, I claimed Bill Belichick is actually pope Odilo Pope Schere, I still believe Mike Tyson is a groundhog and compared myself to the Ambrosia Beatle because my writing will bore you. 

Before we get to the rankings, I'd like this blog to be written in honor of the Queen who died having captivated the heart of the world and now its spade. Sorry if that joke was too soon or immature to you but it should be noted nothing is too immature for Prince Charles. As a man of class who has the utmost respect for the royal family, I will pledge to go no further down this tunnel before my blog crashes and burns.

Week 1 Power Rankings from my brain:

1.) A Fierce Breeze - Me: 

- Another year and another clear draft win. I am probably gonna end with 155 points on the week and it's due to homework. You won't be getting anything else from me on my team.

2.) Joint Per Reception - Kirk:

- You wanted my takes you got them. This week was all WR's across the board, Kennen is out for a minute, Kmet played in the worst weather of all time, and Baker was trying way to hard and didn't click with his team till the second half. I think this team runs it back 1 more week but if it doesn't perform I could see the first trade of the year coming here.

3.) Team Kamel3481 - Will:

- This big oaf might have an actual team this year. After the the worst pick last year (OBJ) to actaully putting a solid team together maybe the last thing I thought he could do. People forget (obviously I don't) that hes just waiting with a juiced up DHop as his WR1 paired with Deebo. I do think this will be Patterson highest week scoring on the year, but probably Pitts/Deebos possibly lowest outings. I will say hes 1 injury away from the trade block. Make with that what you will.

4.) My Goodies - Alan:

- At the time of writing this the Seahawks/Broncos game hasn't started but I don't think that impacts this to much. Packers/Ajones did the same thing last year at the start of the season, Mahomes maybe better without tyreek, and his bench has players that can fill in when needed. I think his two big questions marks are Waddle and Ertz.

5.) Douglas Dug, DD - Cody:

- I can sit back and say im happy with my Kupp trade, but Cody can definetly tell you hes happy with it also. Along with Godwin out with injury again, the Evans keeper slot that I thought was the second worst draft choice of that night doesn't look so stupid afterall. Monty may not have scored points but 17 carries is enough to make him happy. If I am him, I am taking a hard stance on supporting the second ammendment so Gibson can continue putting up those numbers.

6.) Sunday Cook Out - Dustin:

- Consistently inconsistent. This team is either going to explode or be meh. Scary Terry, Theilan, Lazard, Robinson, Gallup, singletary can all score 15-20 on a day but also nothing. Now will the stars align for him or will it be a constant rotation of one doing well and the other getting 6. Who is to tell.

7.) Slay All Day - Chris:

- Their is a reason I don't base my power rankings on points. Kennan and Elijah out? Chris had to much fun at Alan's wedding because this boy stayed in New Owlans and drafted the whole team. Much like the team above him, I am still not all in on MT, Sanders has burned everyone in the past, and Kittle may never get healthy. But their is some major firepower here at 7, that shouldn't be over looked.

8.) In Chase we Trust - Lukas:

- I think the first double TE draft I have seen someone do and I think probably the last. I don't know if I see what he sees yet, but what I do see is a ton of talent all over his roster but the RB's are maybe the worst of all time. I give this one/two more weeks to see if this little experiment works BUT no TE's are performing and he could get a huge haul for 1.

9.) Scam Fakers - Matt:

- To each their own I guess, I wouldn't have drafted anyone off of his entire team but Jefferson or Allen. Not that I think the players individually are bad but just in spots they cant succeed. If I am him its either become the wavier wire boy, or look to ship a big name for multiple smaller name players. 

10.) Team Thiccstooge - Brian:

- I think this team is either horrible or actually kinda terrible. Rams had one superbowl hangover game and we all overreact. Higgins and Najee are both semi-dead, Etienne is splitting, and Lance may suck. But until I see it sorry little willy you're down here.

11A.) Just not playing for not last - Doug:

- You can say your not playing for last but I dont believe you. Yes yet again your team falls apart basically week 1 due to Dak. But taking Josh Jacobs/Amari Cooper is just terrible drafting/also terrible lineup setting. The one saving grace is AJ Dillon who you'll be starting in-front of the guy you drafted before him at the same position.

11B.) Hide and go Zeke - Austin:

- Austin I do jokingly give you a hard time for dumb reasons but in this scenario I am not joking; your team is horrible. Zeke was easily the worst draft pick in the draft this year, if you don't believe me go look at the RB's drafted before him. Currently between your first two picks they have a total of 23 total touches? Bateman and knox combined 3 total touches of the ball. I'll be seeing ya on the waivers my friend. LIVE UPDATE: Juedy just caught a 67 yard bomb in my face hole so I think you could be moving up the power stance.

Where do we go from here? I gave a little sprinkle/little in-depth look at each team to show my thoughts on it. From here on out if it is wanted I will continue with a weekly power rankings but they won't be as lengthy and more just an actual ranking. To compensate for just a ranking, I will give a a look into my brain on a topics related/not related to football IE Mike Tyson is actually Punxsutawney Phil. 

If not wanted and not read, I have no problem not giving a weekly power rankings and instead just keeping putting up 150+ a week instead.
